Because there is so much information about Growth Mindset out there, some targeted to teachers, some for kids, and some for parents, I have created a webpage that is specifically designed for parents. If you would like to know more about how to instill a growth mindset in your child, help them be happy and motivated to learn, please have a look at this new resource.

Growing Your Brain Through Challenge
We began our journey about developing a Growth Mindset at Anderdon last year and this year it continues. Your brain can, quite literally, grow new cells and connections between them when it is challenged! You can make yourself smarter through challenge very much like your muscles get stronger when challenged. Be prepared to learn something about how brains work! If you would like to learn more, have a look at these videos.

Mojo Puts it all Together
|
This video ties together all the Growth Mindset ideas we have learned so far. It's about how the best thing you can teach your child is to love challenge, no matter what happens in the end; how mistakes are stepping stones, not roadblocks; how hard work is necessary but can end in many failures before success is reached; how even if you never succeed at a challenge, just making the effort helps you grow and learn. Here are some questions you can discuss with your child.
